I am in love with the ease and clean up of this DIY project! You can take whatever you’d like to add a little shine to and “marbleize” it with some nail polish. The same nail polish you never get through before it turns into a gloppy mess! (Maybe that’s just my experience because I can’t stop buying it but rarely put it on. Whoops.)
Just click on the pictures and follow the steps and you to can marvel in wonderment at your skills in water colors!
Step One: Start with some awesome shades of color!
Step Two: Wash and dray what you plan on marbleizing.
Step Three: In a bowl you don’t want to eat out of, fill with water. Then start putting in your color drops at a time. Carefully swish around with a toothpick until you get the pattern you like. Drop in your dish.
Once you pull the dish out, you can use a cottonball and nailpolish remover to wipe away anything you don’t like. This one was a bit splotchy but it’s okay.
Getting the hang of it.
I may have to marbleize everything I own now.
