Organic Grocery Delivery |Korea|

2014-05-13 18.00.37

Of all the wonders that Korea brings to my Western sensibilities, the Korean home delivery system is by far one of the top experiences of my life. Damn near everything you could possibly want can be (quickly) be delivered to your home.  It’s futuristic and wonderful.

My latest delivery was a bit more expensive than usual because I ordered mostly vegetables that are rare or uncommon in Korea. Green beans, asparagus and avocados are pretty pricey here. But, there are pages of great vegetables, mostly organic, on this site:

GreenFarm

And while I do love this site, you need a Korean’s help to set up an account and/or order for you. Unless you are blessed with a determination to learn Korean better than myself.

But, if that is not an option, may I also suggest this site which is completely in English, totally organic and not only carries fruits and veggies but also organic chicken and eggs? The only downside to this site is its delivery schedule. They have a small area in which they will deliver or you must have it delivered by Korean post, which for some reason jacks up the delivery cost to 6,000 won. I do love this site though.

Veggiehill

There are many other grocery delivery sites in Korea but these are the two that I have ordered from and can verify quality and service.  Just look at these beautiful vegetables! I fall in ❤ with each delivery.

I’m thinking of making a Salade Niçoise for the first time with these!  What do you think? Saveur Recipe
